You can visit our drop off points or our Trans-Asia Main offices and book your Trans Padala items. Label your Padala item properly with the Sender and Recipient name and mobile contact number. Do not seal the Padala item as we will still inspect the cargo. We provide tapes to close and seal your Padala items. See list of our drop off points.

We accept pouch from white envelope to expanded folder, small box (0.04 cubic meter or maximum of 3 kilos) and large box (0.05 cubic meter or maximum of 5 kilos).

You can send multiple cargoes for 1 recipient but the rate will be on a per pouch or per box basis. You can choose our commercial cargo booking to save on freight rates for bulk items.

Trans-Padala only accepts cash as payment mode for now. A waybill and receipt will be issued to you as proof of your Padala transaction.

We currently do not do pick up but we are partnering soon with a reputable 3rd party service who can serve your pick-up and delivery requirements.
For the meantime, you can use Grab or any delivery service provider to deliver your Trans Padala item to our drop off point. Just make sure that the driver has complete details for the transaction. Receipt for payment shall be emailed to you.

If the small box weighs 5 kilos, we will assess and charge the small box using the large box rate.

We will recommend your cargo to be shipped through our commercial channel and you will need to process the port fees at origin and deliver the cargo to the pier. Your recipient will also have to process destination port fees and withdraw at the pier.

Yes, you can ship the frozen item and place this on a styrobox within our small and large box dimensions. You will need to secure a permit from Bureau of Quarantine.

We cannot guarantee that the item will retain its frozen state so the shipper should ensure the item is really iced. Frozen items are considered “owner’s risk” items and Trans-Asia Shipping Lines, Inc. will not be liable for defrosting of the item during the duration of the trip.

We accept live pets as long as they are within the small and large box dimensions and only for selected pets like spiders, beetles, worms for birds, fish (to be placed in Styrofoam) and miniature plants.

Live pets are considered owner’s risk cargoes and Trans-Asia Shipping Lines will not be liable for any deaths of these live pets.

We do not accept cash and jewelry items for the meantime due to the high value.

We do not accept cash and jewelry. We also do not accept explosives / components of explosives and large animals. Large animals in cages such as dogs, fighting cocks, cats, turtles, and big plants are acceptable as commercial items and must be booked with our regular cargo channel with port fees and to be delivered and picked up at the pier.

Heavy items such as paintings are also best booked with our regular cargo channel.

Yes, checks/cheques are accepted and must be placed in an envelope.

The declared value can be made higher but client will be charged with additional insurance fees. Maximum insurance allowed is up to Php 20,000 per box. Additional insurance is computed at declared value by 0.5%.

In the unlikely and unfortunate event that your item gets lost, Trans-Asia Shipping Lines, Inc. will reimburse the client up to the item’s declared value.

Cut off time for the day’s scheduled departure is at 3 PM. We will still accept late items for the next available trip.

Yes, items will arrive within 24 hours for Cebu to Cagayan de Oro, Cebu to Iloilo, Cebu to Ozamiz, Cebu to Iligan, Cebu to Tagbilaran, and Cebu to Masbate and vice versa. Padala from Cebu for Tacloban (within 36 hours) and Cebu to Zamboanga (within 72 hours) will take longer due to the distance.

We now also offer Trans Padala connect and this takes longer than 24 hours. Our teller will let you know the estimated day of arrival.

You need to bring a valid government ID for us to release the item to you. We will be texting you to inform you of the Padala item which arrived. You can claim the Padala item through our pick up point. See list of our pick up points.

Yes, you can authorize a representative to claim the Padala item on your behalf. Please send a letter of authorization together with a copy of your government issued ID and your authorized representative’s government issued ID.

You can approach the parcel in charge for the release of your Padala item.

Our parcel in charge will text the sender and the recipient of the arrival of the Padala item. Another text will be received by the sender when the recipient claims the item.

You are given ten (10) calendar days to withdraw the Padala item. Trans-Asia Shipping Lines, Inc. endeavors to contact both sender and recipient of the unwithdrawn item.

All unwithdrawn items beyond 10 calendar days will be properly disposed of to cover for storage fees.

Yes, you can formally inform us through email at starsy@transasiashipping.com of your decision to return back the item to you. A proof of payment to our bank depository account should be sent together with the email and we will have the pouch or box sent back.

In the email, please provide a copy of the original waybill and receipt for easy tracing of the cargo.
